Moment terms of service

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Welcome to Moment. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Lloyd Ebnchenge, who operates Moment ("Moment", "we", "us"). They cover the Moment app and everything you do in it. By creating an account or using Moment, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Moment.

1. Who can use Moment

2. Real names and your account

Moment is built on real identities, so people always know who they're talking to.

3. How Moment works

We keep improving Moment, so features may change, be added or be removed.

4. Your content

You own the photos, videos, captions, comments and messages you post ("your content").

5. Music and sounds

6. Community rules

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, send or do any of the following:

7. Reporting, blocking and moderation

8. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Moment infringes your copyright, email lloyd.ebnchenge@gmail.com with: your contact details; a description of the work; where the content appears in Moment; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove infringing content and may close accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Our app and brand

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Moment app for its intended purpose, under these Terms. The app, its design, software and the Moment name and logo belong to us; these Terms don't give you any rights to them. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying or crediting you.

10. Apple and other companies

11. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Other → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, posts, videos, messages and profile. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect people or Moment. Sections 4 (for content already shared), 8, 9 and 12 to 14 continue after your account ends.

12. Disclaimers

Moment is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't promise that Moment will always be available, secure, error-free, or that content will be accurate, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Content posted by others is their responsibility, not ours.

13. Limits on liability and indemnity

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or content, arising from your use of Moment. Our total liability for any claim relating to Moment is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

You agree to defend and compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your content, your use of Moment, or your breaking these Terms or someone else's rights.

14. Disputes

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change significantly affects your rights, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect, unless the change is needed right away for safety or legal reasons. If you keep using Moment after an update, you accept the new Terms. If a part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies, and our not enforcing a part doesn't waive it.

16. Contact

Moment is operated by Lloyd Ebnchenge. Questions about these Terms: lloyd.ebnchenge@gmail.com.
